These diamond ear studs are a stunning pair of antique French flower cluster earrings from the early 20th Century crowned with two bright white cultured pearls claw set in the centre, complemented by a halo of ten glistening old mine cut diamond petals, totalling approx. 2ct.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
The pair of diamond ear studs are modelled in 18ct gold and complete with a French 18ct Eagle mark on the posts and new round backs, stamped “Mecan/ 18K”. They’re very striking and showcase a dazzling array of lustrous gems.
We recommend you insure these diamond earrings (2ct) for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
